Might it have something to do with the rule of law, and paying your debts when they are called in?

Perhaps the Argentine President finds these concepts rather vague, if not downright bourgeois.

Yes, its everyone else's fault. Argentina is the innocent party in all this! Those damn Americans and the West - how dare they uphold the law! I am Cristina Kirchner - don't they know that?

How does this work? DON'T explain to your population that you MUST clear your debts FIRST. DON'T explain that “goodies” will have to wait until you can afford them. DON'T explain that they will have to work, and work, and work. DON'T do any of those things. That's called honesty. Instead, DON'T pay your debts. BRIBE the population. SPOUT a load of garbage about a fantasy. And BLAME everyone else. And don't forget, STEAL as much as possible at the same time!

LOL! She is pissed off because no one is listening to her whining. She managed to corner Japan's Prime Minister? What did she think he would do? And the agreements she 'singed' (love that) are just agreements to 'work closer together' without actual substance.

Someone should remind her she is a grandmother and should wear appropriate clothing.

Anybody watch the G20 photo line-up. World leaders chatting to each other waiting for Putin, and CFK with no-one within 3 meters of her. Wonder why ?

She “singed several cooperation and strategic agreements.”

What did she do? Set fire to them?

I think they mean 'signed'. Although, I've often wished that the Mad Witch would spontaneously combust and disappear in a cloud of smoke!

Obama refused to discuss the debt issue with her. Really, what did she expect? He cannot interfere with the process of the law and he has some important matter to attend to.

Do you think she is starting to realise how marginalised she is?

Awwww.. Nobody wants to come to widdle Cwistina's pity party of her own making, so she's bringing the party to the G20. Loser.

    @4 ElaineB

Given the Japanese recent statements about deriving inspiration from Britain's defence of the Falkland's for their recent conflict with China I doubt she'll get much of a hearing. ( Btw I'd LOVE to know which language they're conversing in ).

#8 Elaine I think that is her stupidity for:
1-Thinking that POTUS can arrange for ruling. They may be able to strongly exert opinions, but that is the extent of POTUS.
2-Even if POTUS could, I see no reason why he would for Argentina. The most effective and does it very well is to burn each and every bridge she crosses without the foresight to see she will ever need to recross that bridge. When it's burnt.......a huge gap remains.

@11. That would be the languages of diplomacy and business. She has no chance even if she speaks very slowly loudly and uses lots of hand gestures. Just a few hours a night on Rosetta Stones “Grownup Level 1” would have done wonders for her. But CFK Annie's her self as too smart to study and will therefore never learn anything....i

You have to wonder if they will be discussing Argentina's removal from the G20 list, what with her stupidity of wanting the debt issue on the agenda and Argentina's impending financial collapse after the default.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's pissed off virtually all the leaders at the party, but then she won't be in power for much longer.

8.CFK is too dumb and narcissistic to realize how marginalized she is.

She looked like a creeper in the G20 family photo.

I doubt they will get rid of Argentina. Like any political entity, once they start something, they can never end it. Income taxes in the USA was a short term tax for WWI.

    18. Not sure about the G20 charter but I would bet that to be a member you must also be a member in good standing at IMF.
So that may change next month.

I hear they are trying to figure out how to pay the ICSID judgements and the Paris Club off so they don't appear to be recalcitrant borrowers.

I do not understand how the politicians there still support her. I know the support is eroding. Hopefully, like an open seacock, more and more will be open to abandoning her after the October elections.

Hmm she seems upset that Obama won't tell the courts and judges what to do. All that time in office and she still doesn't realise that in civilised countries the President doesn't control the courts and use them for their political advantage. She has spent too long in cahoots with Venezuela and Iran.

It is completely unfair to blame individuals like Malvinero, Nostrils, Think, Stevie, etc. for trying to change the subject (WhatAbout-ism).

Truth is that they simply do not understand the subject, as can be seen in their scribbles.

The fact that you do what you do with your son is quite disturbing indeed and not something you should project on others.
