I wonder how much will go to help the needy after everyone in Government has taken his/her share. CFK will probably say to Lorenzina, “well done I hope you used my ilhealth as an excuse, your share is US$ 2million, but my share is US$ 5 million, you mustn't get above your station” Is that how it works in Argentina?

Dont forget a loan to Argentina is seen as a gift by them..they have no intention of ever repaying, and see your gift as a sign of weakness.

Is this one of those loans which other countries can vote against?

    Announcing is not disbursing.
I don't see these loans being disbursed until Arg pays up/cleans up all of their financial mess with the USA/Repsol/Paris Club/ICSID
Time is not on Argentina's side.

I am confused as to why the WB is even considering talking to this bunch of thieves.

It's beyond me apart from the WB have got the “Social Inclusion” virus so prevalent in SA.

Perhaps the full board will reject this “loan” in December.

It is The WB mission to “try to” alleviate poverty and they always get paid back.
I am sure The USA won't let funds be disbursed until everything I mentioned above is fixed to their satisfaction.
I think they wanted to release something positive with something negative ( paying ICSID awards)

    what a disintelligente article ,

World Bank has been only a demode infrastructure finance mechanism, can not be a country strategic partner.
