Oct 30th, 2013 - 09:41 am - Link - Report abuse 0What is it with argieland? I do hope it is spending lots of the money it doesn't have on this. A number of Caribbean states are as bent as they come. Will argieland notice as they steal it blind?

Oct 30th, 2013 - 11:55 am - Link - Report abuse 0Yawn, the deal is that the Carribbean states support Argentina's Falklands claim after which as per usual Argentina will then renege on any promises and stab the Carribbean nations in the back.
It's the same scratched record, g'dum, g'dum, g'dum, g,dum.
Well a little bird told me that that the Argie client state wants to twitter in the Carribean. Beware Caricom! You need a very long spoon to sup with the Devil. Whats at the back of all this? The isolation by the Argies of thier great rival, but of course thier fraternal brother Brazil by surrounding them with client states such as Guyana, Surinam et al
Oct 30th, 2013 - 02:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Timerman is fine tuning his exit strategy as it's not long to go now before having to leg it. All those lovely tax havens and low tax jurisdictions in CARICOM. Yummy. And they have bread.
Oct 30th, 2013 - 02:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I foresee lots of south south co-operation paradigm farce visits clutching property brochures and stuffed suitcases.
@3, 4, 5 You are such cynics. Are you not waiting for the revelation of the vision? I have a little problem remembering whether argieland is a motherland or fatherland this week. Let's go with Vaterland. Or, as we say in Britain, Farterland. Check out any number of full-length photographs of WW2 Nazi officers and you can see the origin of the phrase All mouth and trousers. Should we take account of research that says that more than 9,000 Nazi war criminals escaped to South America? Although it has been suggested that it was 300,000 or more. And, in either case, most to argieland. Shouldn't we consider argieland to be the Fourth Reich and take appropriate action? Obliterate it!
Oct 30th, 2013 - 03:57 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Argentina have obviously told the Caribbean nations We do things better than ALBA.

Oct 30th, 2013 - 07:01 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Difficult to see what exactly Argentina brings to the table here, increased trade perchance, not.

I’m sure they will await his insightful visions into the situation, with baited breath.
They just need to watch it if he starts blithering about “South American continental shelves, bearing in mind most of them are on one.
CFK will be gone soon,
