The European Commission has received no ‘well-founded’ complaints alleging Gibraltar’s failure to cooperate on tax, financial and money-laundering matters, according to Michel Barnier, the Commissioner for Internal Market and Services. In response to questions in the European Parliament, Mr Barnier also confirmed that Gibraltar was fully up to date with the transposition of EU legislation in all three fields, according to a report from the Chronicle. What were we expecting? Where is the “latino” state that believes in truth, honesty, integrity, equity? It's just that some go farther than others and are more “obvious”. The UK would be naive to believe that the EU will create any change in Spain's attitudes or actions. How long did it take before the UK realised that the UN, the Fourth Committee and C24 made no difference to argieland's attitudes and actions? That recognition is why there is a capable British garrison on the Falkland Islands and the Atlantic Patrol Task (South) mission. Because the UN, the Fourth Committee and C24 are no more to be trusted than argieland. And the EU and its “organs” are no more to be trusted. There is only one logical option. The UK has a legal responsibility and duty to protect Gibraltar and its citizens. A “garrison” with complete air, land and sea capabilities must be despatched to “The Rock”.

    Get to tha “choppa” !!

“Plasma rifles” aside, this place produces nothing honest, its economy relies on cheating British and European tax rates, effectively ripping off both Britain and Europe ... all the while benefiting from what both have to offer.
When not serving as a tax dodge, ripping off the people's flag it clings to, it serves as a place for foolish recreational home gamblers to lose their money online to fully organized professional staffed and equipped opponents.
(or in its secondary “gambling” capacity as a whitewashing facility).

The only labor or work performed is used to dodge laws and taxes yet again in its capacity as a oil bunker, spilling tonnes of oil into the Mediterranean throughout the year.

All the while serving to damage G.Britains relations with Spain.
And the chortling blue blood bankers of London have you rooting for it.
Tally ho ... old boy .. you use Britains facilities and dodge the cost, the little folks will take up the slack Tarquin, make sure to produce nothing of honest value while damaging our image in Europe.
