Good news for our subscribers, readers and followers. After having consolidated our English language site and following market research and innumerable requests, we have risen to the challenge and, as of this week, MercoPress has a Spanish version.
As we have done through all these years which you have helped us travel, we will try our best to give a reliable, objective view of events in the expanding Mercosur region and in the South Atlantic.
We believe MercoPress has a reputation for objective and non-biased reporting, which again you have helped us with your comments, and we expect to repeat this with the new Spanish site. However it won't be a mirror of the English version but will include other aspects and interpretations that should better help understand events.
The provision of a flow of news and information is very much available, but really understanding what events mean or represent, is another business; that is what MercoPress best delivers and that is our goal for the Spanish site.
Likewise we invite corporations, financial institutions or/and other groups with interests in the region to support us by becoming sponsors, as has been the case with the English site. Support is the essence of our existence and survival in such a competitive industry.
