The assessment of Argentine President Cristina Fernandez performance has dropped over 20 points according to the latest findings from a public opinion poll published this week, with 67.5% of interviews saying they are not satisfied with the current leadership at Casa Rosada. Read full article

Disclaimer & comment rules25% is not going to get lower...If it does the Conurbano explodes. She has more lives than a cat. All the political analyst are coinciding that Cristina is preparing succecion to Maximo kirchner and laying foundations of power to control the country while they are no longer in office. The council of the judiciary has being taken over by La Campora. I dont see Peronism taking much of this after she has gone and specially if she is recognized and seing by the people of something of the past.

At last the truth is out!

Mar 05th, 2014 - 10:20 am - Link - Report abuse 0Inflation in Mendoza is already at 9% this year. And probably even higher. I do the grocery shopping and its unreal. Prices change on a daily basis and what you are charged at the checkout has nothing to do with the price shown on the shelves. Even sale prices that have just been put up do not reflect the price shown on the SALE posters.
Mar 05th, 2014 - 11:17 am - Link - Report abuse 0CFK, Hollande of France have the lowest approval rates, Hollande with less than 18%. Both have wrong economic policies,but one big difference is that while Hollande is a fascist (not socialist),invading African colonies,supporting Nazi terrorists in Uclaine, CFK is still opposing US dominance. Stupid,it's economy as Clinton the crook, said, and she is causing havoc in economy,lossing her support. After the death of Chavez, Latin America is quite vulnerable to the US imperialist. Now only President Putin is the bulwark against the dominance of US, and this is the reason why he is hated by Obama,Kerry, Hollande(minor cat),Merkel,and many other imperialists.
Mar 05th, 2014 - 11:29 am - Link - Report abuse 0Yasu, how can the US, France, or Germany be imperialists. They are all successful democracies whereas Cuba, Venezuela and Argentina are quasi dictatorships? As for Putin, apart from being a gay icon he just seems to be another Russian dictator of a police state?
Mar 05th, 2014 - 11:51 am - Link - Report abuse 0It's getting worse. The graffiti as I may have mentioned is altered by the same people that put it there in the first place. Call me childish for laughing, but they spray painted a joint coming out of Nestor's mouth, and a phallus in CFK's.
Mar 05th, 2014 - 01:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The 25% is largely comprised of the welfare population, that enjoys immunity from the rule of law. They won't enjoy it for long. Argentina will ignite like Venezuela, should the more civilized portion of the population decide to reciprocate what they've been tolerating for the lost decade.
This is a shame. I do believe that she should be given more time to complete the job. Lol

Ah that's right, destroy Argentina. No wonder all of you want it.
violence?? instability?? its only pots and pans its called protesting and i think the argentine people deserve that right at least.
Mar 05th, 2014 - 06:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Toby, get out on the street with your potty and start banging it with those drumsticks you got for Christmas. Have a riot! They are about to tax daipers.
Mar 05th, 2014 - 07:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@12 as for destroying argentina i do believe the argentine president has took care of that, but it has been a real joy to watch i must admit.
Mar 05th, 2014 - 07:31 pm - Link - Report abuse 0And what would further violence and instability accomplish?
maximos personal thugs la campora would be best placed to answer that!!
Perhaps then, the good people of Argentina should take a leaf out of other countries and replace her, sooner rather than later,
Mar 05th, 2014 - 08:14 pm - Link - Report abuse 0In the mean time CFK will carry that great burden of deluded leadership on her head..

You should be ashamed of yourself.
@12 - Many people really just want to see normal Argentines given the opportunity to be productive and a positive force in the international community again.
Mar 06th, 2014 - 04:20 am - Link - Report abuse 0Many people also want to see the false claims and bullying by Argentina against the Falkland Islanders stopped, and permanently stopped in accordance with International Law.
Argentina must take their case to the ICJ and finally put this whole destructive situation to bed. The Falklanders deserve peace and the right to exist in the lands they have lived in for many, many generations.
A land never owned by Argentina and proven in historical fact.
Cristina should be arrested along with her crooks and a new Argentina born that is outward looking, law abiding, and a constructive force for good.
I 100% agree with @19 and it looks like most of Argentina does too!

We the people need to take ownership of our governments. Sadly Gray Man won't do it for us.
Mar 06th, 2014 - 03:26 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Argentines are not known for their sophistication regarding politics, administration or foreign affairs. However, it would seem that a slight majority have seen the light (or lack thereof).

True. The light has been there for a couple of years now. Still we won't be able to do anything until our eyes get used to it. We've been in the darkness for quite a long time.
What is needed is an isolationist Argentina, that desist from the Falkland's claim and ceases the incessant protests towards nations that engage the Falklanders.
Mar 06th, 2014 - 06:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0An isolationist Argentina benefits all those nations that have been wronged by Argentina militarily, financially, or in other forms.
It would also be beneficial to Argentina as it would impede all contact with proven imperialist forces (see Ukraine) like the nations members of the EU and those in North America. One cannot expect to have fruitful relations with countries that from the starting lane of discussion see you as a vassal, and themselves as a 21st century Suzerain. Non-starter.
@13
That right will be given to us in October 2015. That's 18 months basically. And choosing will start well-before that. To interrupt the democratic process will not better the economic situation (which is nowhere what is said here, Mendoza is fine and the dollar - peso rate is now EQUALIZED in all markets... WHERE IS THE MEGA-COLLAPSE everyone was predicting by march?).
OTOH it will further ruin the democratic mise-en-scene, which is psychologically key. I'm not a big believer in democracy, but if that is what people want, fine. But this system is dependent as much on pageantry as on substance. And respecting the presidential terms is a good start.
@25
Mar 06th, 2014 - 07:53 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Sounds good to me, so you do not want foreign investment, you ( Argentina ) can go it alone. I don't think so, where are you getting the money? Soy beans? Perhaps that could be the next currency. If you are isolated you have no markets.
