    But will RGland pay up?

Further proof, as if any were needed that any foreign company trying to 'do business' with RGland had better be prepared for 'losses'!

    @ 3 Falkland Islands

No, they have had judgement against them!

They will NEVER pay unless coerced by an Astute / T45 sitting off Casa Rosada “test firing” into the S. Atlantic and given Camoron, that is unlikely to happen.

BG should look to the example of the Vulture Funds and seize Argentine assets elsewhere.

Nice to see my BG group shares doing so well. Started at £2-50 each. Currently standing at £11-00 each.
    NICE.

If I am remembering correctly Argentina has lost every single one of these cases.
They should just negotiate them instead of dragging them out in court.

They are all falling at a really bad time now that all BCRA funds are gone.

    @11
The new policy appears to be to mend fences in order to be allowed in from the cold, so I expect they will pay.

Condorito is right. The Ks are a touch just a touch less defiant than before the october by elections results. Besides they can agree to make payments but they won't be in office after the elections and then it'll be someone elses problem.

Waste of time Argentina doesn't have 185 pesos let alone £185million. Unless someone lends them money how will the deadbeats pay?

I can see the reserves dipping even lower.

A great argument would be that Argentina has to pay immediately, as they obviously have the money as they have stated that they intend to pay billions on upgrading their weapons.

Surely thats a bad use of other peoples money and militarising the south atlantic?

Argentina always pays once they lose. It costs them so much money in interest, penalties and legal fees though.
Silly old hag ruining the country.

Food inflation is 100% and growing
