    Look & learn Cristina...

She is a true leader who wants what is best for her country... She got to be there for her own capabilities and leadership. She wasnt the wife of the president.

I can tell she is everything you are not.

Why is it that anybody wishing to control the borders of a country is branded “anti-immigrant” ??

I have no problem with immigration 'per se' as this is what made UK a wonderful place, and so strong.
Anyone who has been to London will love the incredible diversity. New Yooork (!) is pretty amazing also.
However, I am concerned when even a proven criminal can just turn up and claim the benefits due to the nationals.
Unregulated immigration is a problem. Even though the EU is 'probably' the most sophisticated and diverse area on the planet, 'open-borders' can lead to problems with 'mafia' of any background etc.
I quite like the Australian system where they list the trades/professions they require to boost their economy/society as preferential.
This seems quite a sensible approach.

Capitalism, the industrial revolution and the British Navies (both private and military) made the UK the biggest and most powerful country in the world. immigration is not good at all when it comes up to massive ammounts, unskilled, they form ghettos, they impose their own culture in reality rather than assimilate, and the prime reason immigration occurs is out of the persuit of a better economical well being rather than the love for a this new homeland so immigration in the long term is always bad.

Politically correct mentality says otherwise, I know, but the working class people of France have spoken. They dont seem to by it any more

Yes the “Socialist” government of France, like that of VeneCuba, is going to do whatever the hell it wants. Ideology before what's good for the country.
