Jul 03rd, 2014 - 12:11 am - Link - Report abuse 0But time doesn't stop. Everything catches up eventually.
Soon there will be no more soccer. No more laryngitis.
No more bread.
No more circuses.
Just reality laid bare.
So...
Jul 03rd, 2014 - 12:45 am - Link - Report abuse 01.Aggression from USA supreme court and financial markets.
2.Aggression from 43 nations in trade.
3.Aggression from Mercosur in now threatening to go ahead without Argentina.
4.Aggression from China on the EEZ.
I am sure that cutting the finances of Argentina, cutting its trade, cutting its power within Mercosur, and depredating its resources is going to turn us argies all around in favour of free markets, paying debts, international cooperation, and friendly neighborly relations.
The government even as we speak tonight is announcing 50% cuts in public works due to #1, 5% rise in unemployment due to cheap imports #2, massive imbalance of dollar flows due to #3, and loss of sovereignty due to #4.
The world wants a 4th reich to rise in Argentina?
They are getting closer to getting it.
Except Argentina is too stupid and lazy for anyone to be worried about it.
Jul 03rd, 2014 - 01:23 am - Link - Report abuse 0You'll be lucky if Chile doesn't take the abutting provinces and make you move to BA!

Jul 03rd, 2014 - 01:28 am - Link - Report abuse 0In the modern age you don't need to do very much to inflict harm to millions.
I'm sure a collaboration Argentina - ISIS for a nice a couple dozen nukes to be smuggled into New York, Washington, Paris, London, Milan, Tokyo, Sydney, New Delhi, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Mexico, Los Angeles, Toronto, Beijing, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Madrid, Moscow, Auckland, Amsterdam, Athens, Dubai, Cairo, Seoul would be nice revenge for Argentina.
Your education is an embarrassment. You and your whole county are a bunch of slow witted children who whenever you don't get you way you stomp your feet cry and whine.
Jul 03rd, 2014 - 01:58 am - Link - Report abuse 0Grow up.

Thank God that she can't talk !!! Now do something quick that resembles reasonability while she is incapacitated.

Jul 03rd, 2014 - 04:20 am - Link - Report abuse 0Mrs Kirchner needs to decide what is more important - her continued Presidency or Argentina. Whilst I don't agree the Military will return it is clear that economically, Argentina is in for a very difficult time. For such a large Country with incredible natural resources it is a sad reflection on the Argentinian ruling class that they seem unable to make Argentina work for all Argentinians.
Jul 03rd, 2014 - 06:04 am - Link - Report abuse 0I wonder what she has been doing to get a sore throat?

Jul 03rd, 2014 - 08:15 am - Link - Report abuse 0Conversely, a few nuke detonated in B.A, Mendoza, Cordoba, Rosario and La Plata would solve the problem for the rest of the world. Your country is not needed in the great scheme of things.
What you advocate is impossible. What I have outlined above is distinctly possible and the means to do it are in place.
GROW UP !!!!!
@2 ... Who would have thought that widespread corruption, blatant abuse of authority, epic-scale cronyism, nepotism, chronic mismanagement at every level of government, jaw dropping incompetence, cheap nationalism, lack of planning beyond the current used car deal, no accountability whatsoever, ill-faith shown in every contract or agreement signed, ingrained dishonesty and downright arrogance in government of a country would eventually have negative consequences for that country?
Jul 03rd, 2014 - 08:38 am - Link - Report abuse 0Came as quite a shock to me. Never saw it coming.

2. Good.
3. Good.
4. Good.
By the way, it's not aggression, it's justice!
Does the world want a Fourth Reich? That depends. Are you going to keep it to yourself? If so, go for it. If you want to go charging around conquering places, that's still okay if you stay in south america. Don't need to worry about the US as it will swat you in no time. So will Europe, but it's about crossing that ocean. We'd have to agree on when you do it. Summertime, as it's a bummer having to ship all that arctic equipment.
@4. Now you're off in la-la land. You don't have any nukes and neither does ISIS. But, if you want to pull a stunt like that, you will have. The exploding version. Delivered urgently by British rocket. We can fire those from 7,000 miles away. They arrive in about half an hour. If you're going to threaten, at least threaten something you CAN do. And think on this. Our record is to kill three times as many of yours. Will you be informing your latam supporters that there may be some collateral damage?
Trolling at #2 and 4: you can't seem to make up your mind whether you are for or against Argentina. Are you bipolar? And talking about nuking all those cities is paramount to terrorism. Do you think AR would actually gain if that happened? The nuclear winter would kill most of the world off...including AR.

Jul 03rd, 2014 - 11:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0Yes, this is obviously the time for her to stand down, and thus automatically hand over to Boudou! Be serious =)
To be serious, I don't know if Boudou is innocent or guilty - on the one hand there are all sorts of dirty tricks played against socialists in power (and out!), on the other he was a conservative and worked in finance when younger so may have been more susceptible to corruption than a solid activist. I think it would be wise for him to down and save the government and country, already dealing with renewed vulture fund aggression, this extra headache. It could also create an opening as VP for Cristina's appointed successor, hopefully Timmerman, to start building their profile. Of course if I can see why he wouldn't want to do it, and I may be counselling over-caution in the face of a rabid opposition; I'd like to see what Think and Axel think about this.
Anyway I wish the lovely Cristinita a speedy recovery from her illness, and I must say, you've put up a beautiful picture of her =)
if I were her laryngitis I would refuse too, to let all her lies pass through. it hurts!
Jul 03rd, 2014 - 12:28 pm - Link - Report abuse 019. It's time for her to go and she can take Boudou with her. Guilty or not he's raised suspicions at home and abroad and is damaged goods.
Jul 03rd, 2014 - 02:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Argentina needs a younger more vibrant leader to get them out of the current mess. Timmerman hardly meets that criteria.
I think the correct medical terminology for her present condition is is 'lyngitis'.

Jul 03rd, 2014 - 09:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Let's just say, following your lead, the sovereign state of Argentina were proven to collaborate with the terrorist group ISIS and somehow got hold of and detonated a nuclear device in London, and Lets just say for the sake of argument the result was half a million dead, with 2 million injured.
What do you believe the retaliation of this barbaric nation would be?
Would it be like in 1982 where this barbaric nation had its sovereign territory invaded, and it's only response was to recover the territory, showing more compassion for its enemies troops, than the enemy did for their own?
Or would your action trigger true barbarism, and a retaliation such that there was a complete destruction of Argentina and a total genocide of all Argentines?
We showed remarkable restraint, humility and compassion in 1982, which you mistook for weakness or even barbarism. With hindsight that was a mistake,

Jul 05th, 2014 - 08:44 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Don't you think she looks a bit bloated in that photo?
Perhaps she drinks a bit too much alcohol.
Wouldn't blame her given the state of the Country and her more recent popularity ratings. She should really consider standing down for the good of Argentina and her own well being.
@ 31 Be serious
Jul 05th, 2014 - 10:25 pm - Link - Report abuse 0She should really consider standing down for the good of Argentina and her own well being.
BE SERIOUS, Be serious!”
We don't want to get rid of her unless she is hanging off a lampost by her neck and the country is in meltdown.
Only from meltdown MAY come a more sensible approach to things and perhaps, just perhaps a more mature way of dealing with the rest of the world, especially the Falklands.
Hang on! I'm talking about the peronistas here: forget what I have written (apart from the wire noose) it will never happen!
