Still trying to dictate the terms. It must be a heavy burden managing those huge egos.

A short statement from Pollack, concise, to the point and from Argentina?

Same old propoganda, it's like listening to an audio loop!

I feel sorry for this mediator. The Rg arrogance and ignorance ( or stupidity) of USA laws is mind boggling.

At some point Argentina is going to realize they're cornered and either have to default or pay.
I guess we'll have to wait a few weeks for that to sink in.

It's not just Argentina though, all these organisations, jumping on the band wagon to negate the rule of law, you would think they would know better. They are supposed to be intelligent.

Their attempts to nullify or alter the judicial ruling of a recognised democracy is staggering in its arrogance.

“Argentina will continue to demonstrate its will to negotiate in fair, equitable and LEGAL conditions,”

Excellent. Let's look back over the performance of “the bonds”. The start point for what argieland owes. Then add on what it SHOULD have paid. Then add on the interest because it HASN'T paid. That's equitable. AND, in the jurisdiction of New York, the New York court says what is LEGAL.

Not really difficult. Just to emphasise, LEGAL conditions are what the court says is legal. Not something argieland doesn't like. Dig out that US$3 billion. Should be about right.

So now she's Tweeting her contempt for the US legal system?

Can the lawyers tell her to stop playing with her I-phone before she gets a contempt order slapped in the face?

In a weeks time the best they can do is meet just twice?

First meeting, go and ask them for a stay.

Next meeting, go and ask them for a stay again!

What a waste of time, it's clear that they have no intention of seriously negotiating payment.

Add Contempt of Court to default and move on.
Would anybody seriously consider ever lending anything to Argentina again. Even Wonga would turn them down.

“Argentine has made clear since 2003 its readiness and capacity to negotiate.”

Didn't CFK make clear she wasn't going to pay them even one dollar?

“But I have bad news for them: We are going to pay and with dollars because we have them to our creditors, but not one dollar to the ‘vulture funds”
