    The RUFO clause is being used by argieland as a smokescreen. Check out http://factcheckargentina.org/

    Anybody surprised that argieland, and its lawyers LIE. Again and again and again. Doesn't the United States have something, in New York, called the New York State Bar Association. An organisation charged with maintaining professional standards. At what point should argieland's lawyers be appearing before the New York State Bar Association for incompetence, lying, professional misconduct?

    I think that Pollack is bending over backwards to help The Dark Country but there will come a point when enough is enough.

    If Pollack's briefing to Griesa indicate that the line has been crossed regarding defaming the judge THAT will be the time the person's responsible for the defamation and maybe ever more serious acts against the court itself to be brought to book.

    Grieasa is too long in the job to be upset by the rediculous comments coming from the argie lawyers, everyone that matters knows he is correct.

    A message to the holdouts: Argentina isn't going to negotiate until January 1st 2015. No matter what.

    4. That is silly and childish. Your country is an embarrassment.
    I couldn't stand living there, this is what I dealt with everyday, arrogant delusional man-children that would never accept reality or being an adult.
    It is tiring.
    I don't know how Griesa and Pollack stand dealing with these petulant arrogant children.

    @5 I´m not sure if it is so childish, triggering RUFO would be even worse than a default for us, and virtually anyone in Argentina believes than Singer will try to trigger RUFO once we “negotiate”. In fact Argentina´s lawyers advised a default... and they are American.

    @7. Do you understand RUFO? It stands for “Rights upon Future Offers”. Is argieland making a “Future Offer” or even an “Offer”? No. It would be complying with the order of a competent judge in a competent court of the competent jurisdiction. How much more evidence do you need that “your government” is a bunch of lying criminals?

    As for your “American” lawyers. Who “forgot” to write a clause into the bonds? Who didn't read the bonds? At the end of the day, the bond issuer is responsible. Who was desperate for the money? The argie “government”. Who “enforced” the scam? Kirchner. Should we excuse the current Kirchner for “protecting” her deceased? But she has a responsibility to the country. Corruption, corruption, corruption. It's so easy to see when you're honest. Because you don't look for excuses.

    The Argentine delegation did not show up to the scheduled hearing today, Wednesday.

    According to Mr. Pollack, Argentina’s defence could not make it in time.

    Argentina's willingness to negociate is obviously zero.

    @10
    I'm not sure if you are being humorous or serious.

    Either way, based on precedent, you are likely to be correct.

    @11
    Why does this not surprise me?

    is this deliberate ineptitude on their part?
