    Elvis, you need a cash for clunkers program. And you need government guaranteed financing. And interest free for 84 months. And you need to lower credit requirements. And you need to nationalize all the foreign banks to facilitate the increase in consumer financing. It is all within your grasp - if only you could eliminate the obstructionist elements.

    Come on, argieland, you know you can't have cars. Think about the negative aspects. No-one left to put the kits together properly. All that nasty pollution. No affordable fuel. The answer is pedal cycles. Much less complicated. They can be registered, taxed, insured, tested ever year. And they are healthy. 20 or 30 miles on a bike every day will cure almost anything. Except heart attacks. All at a certain cost of course. But you'll be well prepared when China takes over.

    3. It won't be long before they figure out there's no reason to mfg in Argentina.
    BCRA has to balance mfg, food, fuel imports. Their choices are, do people freeze, starve or work.
    It is only going to get worse.
    If they have U$4B in cash I'd be surprised. Really surprised. The rest of the “reserves” are made up in Treasury notes or other Intergovernmental bonds and its not like those are liquid or they can ask for u$ from them.
    The float is almost gone.
    It shouldn't be too much longer now.

    So they have held an emergency meeting of “Numb-nuts and Deadheads” to sort out the problems of Brazil and The Dark Country.

    The very people who are responsible for the problems!

    First quarter next year will see TDC on its knees, broke, no fuel despite the promises made over Vaca Muerta. Well, they have worked for it and they had better enjoy it: it will be a long time before they get themselves out of the sewer.

    Jack B.

    Get it right! A Socialist Paradise. Just like Vene-Cuba!
    Arf!
    Seriously tho. The change in VNZLA is huge compared to ten years ago. ALL the clothes in the shops are either nasty polyester Chinese imports, fake high-priced Fake chinese imports of brand names, or sometimes US/EU original Brand, (probably still manufactured in Mexico,India or China) imports at three times the price in the US/EU. Crazy huh?
    Yet the Boligarchs still have their finery..... No wonder these 'socialists' following a 'marxist model' love jetting around to endless, pointless 'conferences' just to stock up on designer goods.
    Sick is the word.

    @9 Ilsen,
    Before Chavez kicked the bucket, there were videos and loads of photos circulating on the internet, showing his family's (newly and dishonestly) aquired wealth....weekend beach villas, private Gulfstream jet, speedboats, luxury cars, Rolex's, and of course, expensive silver plated Colt 45's....somehow, so much luxury and sophisticated items seemed out of place with the moronic faces of the people displaying them...as is in most cases when it comes down to the 'nouveau riche', when the status is obtained through illegal means......Just the s.o.s. as Lula...

    Jack I totally agree. I have been watching this sos for years, yet as they say. There is none so blind as those who refuse to see.
    Corruption being flaunted in the faces of the poor, who simply cheer and think “I want some of that”.
    The truth being that they will never be able to earn these baubles, by means legal or otherwise. ..
    It has already been stolen. The boligarchs can't enjoy their ill gotten wealth without keeping so society weak and dependent.
    Yet still the poor cheer at them at the rallies!
    Surely this can't continue forever?

    @11
    One thing in common with all these underdeveloped countries is that the general population is basically, uneducated and stupid, and elects people who are just out for financial gain.. They are not smart enough to see through the lies that the leftists push down their throats, and once they've swallowed the line, hook and sinker, the socialists give them just enough to make them dependent. Once it reaches that point, the socialists have the majority vote, until , as always, their socialist policies start to fail...and then, even the poor who previously supported them, start to smell a rat. The problem is that this is a cycle and you have to let it run its course.
