When Argentina starting sinking they latched onto Brazil with all their weakness. Brazil had one opportunity to do something to save themselves but Dilma decided to risk many to save few and now she will pay the price for Brazil and herself in October.

Brazil is very well. Our foreign exchange reserves cover five years of the current account deficit.
If there was not a single Yuan in foreign direct investment in the country, we'd liquidity for 5 years. Also coming is a mountain of money from pre-salt, somewhere around 125 billion reais annually already in 2015. 65 billion that we will cease to import, 60 bilhões that will export.

However, if some day we need economic-financial aid, China is willing to help us. We created the Bank of BRICS and funds of foreign exchange reserves.

    Do you know that?

If only this crap were true.

Uruguay is already feeling the impact with The Scum of SA not paying for the electricity they have had and are still getting via the under-Plate cable while the people of Uruguay have to pay higher electricity charges to pay for it, courtesy of ‘No Money Pepe’. I know this for a fact.

I know of one exporter who is shortly to stop supplying these cunts because he is up to U$D 300,000 outstanding over the last 12 months. He is only a small businessman and is on the point of bankruptcy through argies promising to pay. I have to admit to stating the blindingly obvious about using escrow accounts but he is adamant that they would not buy his product without credit but didn’t answer when I asked him if they are ever going to pay him.

So UNCTAD, just how many of these stupid committees are there, appears to have its’ head up its’ arse with this conclusion: but what would anybody expect?

I said this last year, an Rg default would not have a contagion affect and nobody would care if it sinks or swims.
The only country that will feel the pain is Brazil.
Brazil has enough U$ to bail them out if they want. I don't think they will though.
Next year is going to be even worse for Brazil and Argentina.
If Dilma is elected they can look to Argentina as their immediate future and to Venezuela as the goal.
I hope she's in jail by next year right along with CFK.

What a dumb idea. I have to, regretfully, disagree with yankeeboy. Who has, one way or another, tied their fortunes to argieland? Uruguay. Bolivia. Peru. Ecuador. Venezuela. Not one of these countries can survive. But how could the demise of any of these “countries” be seen as a bad thing? Who would miss any of them?

    I live in Uruguay.

Given the chaos in the UK at the moment you could say the same about England.

    How would you like that?

@6 Bailing Argentina? From what? By losses of a Uruguayan micro-entrepreneur friend of ChrisR?

Do you EVER stop spouting bollocks?

The Dark Country are stiffing Uruguay AND Uruguayo businesses large and small, I know that for a black and white fact, but I will not disclose HOW I know.

    @3 Brasidiot
“Also coming is a mountain of money from pre-salt, somewhere around 125 billion reais annually already in 2015. 65 billion that we will cease to import, 60 bilhões that will export.”....
Numbnuts, you've been listening to DumboAss Dilma again....the subsalt oil is still a dream.......but you wouldn't know that would you, because you subscribe to the PT 's shitty little rag, through which they indoctrinate brainless idiots like yourself.
And @9, “Brazil does not abandon his brothers”...what did that bullshit come from ? When are you going to realize that more than 50% of the Brazilians do not support the PT, and do not want to travel down the same path VZ has.....You are so bloody stupid that you'll only understand this when you can't get enough food, and the government orders you where and what to work at....Since you are incapable of thinking for yourself, maybe that's what you need.....by your intellectual level, I'd say you would make a reasonably good garbage collector, or, for your benefit, a “catador de bosta nos lixões”...

@8. On the whole you display intelligence. In the main, it is now reckoned that the UK economy will outstrip that of every other European economy. Where, pray, is the chaos? The scotch? Less than 9% of the UK population? Whilst a military 'solution' is not my preference, just imagine. 400 main battle tanks roll over the border supported by 1,000 light tanks/IFVs, 1,ooo APCs, artillery. Marine-based and launched submarine missiles. How many combat aircraft will be launched from the Falkland Islands? How many will have to 'negate' Uruguay? Uruguay supports CFK,doesn't it? Then it's an enemy. You're with us or against us. Choose. On one side, the UK and the Falkland Islands. On the other are enemies and traitors. And the result for enemies and traitors? DEATH!

“On the whole you display intelligence.”

Thank you for that backhanded compliment, I will treasure it for all of the time it takes for a photon of light to travel a meter.

With regard to the UK economy, I do hope you are correct but I wouldn’t believe everything that Osborne spouts and as for Camoron, well, what can we say that hasn’t been said before?

IF, the Scots fall foul of the dickhead, drunken Jew basher Mel Gibson’s portrayal of an ancient deadhead Scot who was executed by Longshanks more than a few years ago, then who knows what will happen to the economy south of the border? I don’t and I know you don’t either because no-one knows.

Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn about what would be left for Scots who fail the Union, but it certainly won’t be pretty.

As regards Uruguay, the murdering commie bastard has, in his dotage, turned into an arse licker supreme much to the dismay of a lot of people but you are mistaken if you think that the majority of the population are somehow argie lovers: I can tell you they are not.

And as for the country NOT being in chaos I suggest you look out of your door occasionally, it most certainly is NOT the country it was when the Blessed Margaret resigned AND you know I am right about that also.
