“For peace, progress, social development and sovereignty: Venezuela and Latin America” !!!

The British trades unions certainly know how to give a girl a titivating title.

Just a tactic to get outsiders to slag off the British establishment.
When the unions do it themselves everybody goes ... “Yawn”.

    *yawn yawn*

thank you for supporting us, even though you didnt but as its my closing speech there aint a lot you can say to disagree...and this will play well at home if they think everyone in Britain except the politicians are, strangely, in support of Argentina's sovereignty claims.

this has been party political speech, method 3-1-a, as decreed by the CFK Imperious Leader as the “current best way to make it appear as if we have lots of support when, actually, we dont”

I doubt that many people in that left wing audience has any idea what her and her government have been up to in recent years, ignorance is bliss I suppose. Isn't it funny how at every UNITE rally they are accompanied by representation from the communist party.

No mention of support for Argentina's demand for negotiations over the Falklands? Nothing in the Buenos Aires Herald either. Unusual?

She thanks the British for their help-
then promptly stabs them in the back over the Falkland's,

    and we politely say,
oh dear , what a jolly nice lady you are, What !

kickem out, and treat them the same way they treat us.

    @ 14 Briton

No, we do not treat them as they treat us when they are visitors to the UK.

To do that would be to bring us down to their level and that is far too far to fall.

Plus climbing out of the cesspit is a bastard, so I am told.

Has the environmental impact of these socialist conferences been assessed ? Surely the high levels of warm carbon dioxide emitted in these venues needs to be looked at as environmental terrorism. Lots of speakers, no actions, no accountability, nobody actually stepping up to do anything (its a collective responsibility), no follow up... what was the point again apart from greenhouse gas emission.

Its amazing given exhibit A (the 20th century), there are still people that let corrupt dictatorships masquerade as socialism. Alicia, fair play to you for your capitalist endeavors. Enjoy the fee.

'Meat or pasta' did not thank the UK unions for their support for Argentina, she specifically thanked “all those who supported Argentina”. “all those” being the three Argentine members of UK unions.
