“The weak performance of the region's foreign trade is primarily due to a limited dynamism in the external demand from some of its main markets, particularly the European Union, [aka a downturn] as well as an important decline in intraregional trade [aka the bastards aren’t living up to their own agreements] . This is compounded by lower prices for numerous commodities that the region exports, especially minerals.” [aka we always knew this might happen but we closed our eyes and prayed to god: yeah, that will work, NOT]

So the lying, scheming, protectionist morons ‘ruling’ these countries had nothing to do with it?

Alicia Barcena, ECLAC's Executive Secretary needs to think again if she thinks anybody outside of SA is going to believe this crap.

““Improving the quality of regional countries' global insertion is fundamental for advancing towards sustainable and inclusive growth. This requires coordinating industrial and trade policies,” Barcena said.”

She obviously has a PhD in gibber-jabber and cannot think beyond it. She needs to be careful nobody does ‘an insertion’ somewhere the sun doesn’t shine for this nonsense. How much do they pay this person?
