There was an 8% margin in favour of DumbAss Dilma in the first round results between this pair, now zero.

What does that say if the trend shown so far in favour of Neves continues?

    He would win.

But we are in the land of 'whataboutery' here, very similar to that that economists live in.

Oh dear! But on 'the other hand' who GAF, it's only a third world country after all. :o)

    Agree Jack -

Another not to believe poll with incorrect data meant to sway the undecided voters.

Simply stated, those who voted for President Dilma will do so again. Those who voted for Marina Silva and Neves will not split the vote, BUT COMBINE FOR NEVES.

Silva ducked her expected endorsement of Neves on Thursday and, according to Clarin, she wanted political guarantees off him before doing so.

I wonder what she will say to her supporters if by prevaricating she lets DumbAss Dilma in?

In politics, it is a matter of “ Here is what I can do for you: Now, what's in it for me. ”

Still negotiating, but I think her votes are safely with Neves. There is much animosity remaining between Marina Silva and President Rousseff, with none of her votes going there.

Another blow of our dishonest and partisan press.
Now, they want us to believe in the words of one corrupt arrested, dying to get rid of part of your skin. This corrupt is making accusations without any proof, against exactly those who quitted of Petrobras and put him in jail. Obviously, he is being pressed to do so.
And once again our dishonest and partisan press is doing? They planned everything to try to implicate the PT, Dilma, exactly now, when we're starting to campaign for the runoff.
Please follow my reasoning below and understand what they do. This is its practice con man.
The magazine Veja, which is the worst trash journalism in this country, and their like, who defend the PSDB of Aecio Neves, produces a cover story and almost the whole magazine, denouncing, without evidence, what they say is corruption practiced by the PT and the current Government.
Shortly after editing the See be on newsstands, starts the antipetista choir organized and planned by other means of mass communication, all belong to the economic elites in this country. They hate the PT, and want to take the PT of the Government at any cost. Then, the national newspaper reproduces the story with the same content. The Jornal da Globo does the same thing, a little later. News from other networks and affiliates repeat same script to exhaustion. The next day the ZH, the Folha de Sao Paulo, the associated press and all newspapers printed stamp on its cover charges, no evidence, against the PT. The ordinary citizen is bombarded daily by the same 12:0 am antipetista propaganda. It lasts all week, until the next edition of the magazine Veja. This, then, brings a new headline of scandal invented, and starts the whole process again.
Why this happens? First because our mainstream press belongs to economic groups who lost political power for the PT in 2002. These economic groups are represented by the PSDB to Aecio Neves and his right-wing coalition, in the second round. The changes and the progr

Sorry, but the facts don't agree with you.

VEJA has been, and remains one of the best respected journals in Brasil, especially when it comes to uncovering corruption.

    And the accusers ?

“ According to the statement, 3 percent of the budget of Petrobras contracts went to finance electoral campaigns for political parties including the PT.

The informers, making their confessions in exchange for shorter sentences, are former Petrobras executive Paulo Roberto Costa and businessman Alberto Youssef, owner of a currency exchange that supposedly managed the funds.”

Of course Preisdent Dilma is surprised at this. She thought she was absolved from the earlier scandal involving Petrobras when she was on the Board of Directors. But this latest scandal is a little harder to explain for her and the PT.

It is either timely for the opposition or inconvenient for her and the PT party she was late in joining. Do not worry: The PF will investigate it completely.

The rest of the point. And for 8 BOTINHO, you have your facts and then there are the facts not made up by VEJA.

Why this happens? First because our mainstream press belongs to economic groups who lost political power for the PT in 2002. These economic groups are represented by the PSDB to Aecio Neves and his right-wing coalition, in the second round. The changes and the programs implemented by the English, for the past 12 years, put the PSDB and its allies in a very difficult situation. They do not have authority to draw up a Government project that can counter the current Government. So, what are they doing? As our political right now is insurgent nature, the press of your property acts the same way. They are trying to deceive the ordinary citizen with lies since the PT came to power in 2002. However, the reality of the facts, so far, always prevailed. However, we're virtually on the eve of the second round and we must denounce it forcefully, this coup attempt and manipulation of public opinion by reactionary and retrograde forces filed in this country. The same people who created all the ills that still have and broke the Brazil three times during the Decade of 90. What they want is a return to the past, when interest rates were 45%, the unemployment rate was of almost 20%, inflation at around 16%, a minimum wage of $ 60 and a number of homeless in the country of more than 50 million. Definitely, we can't let that happen.

    How eloquent an explanation.

The old tired “ We versus they. ” meaning the PT versus any opposition.
“ We can't let that happen ” meaning no opposition will be tolerated.
And ( shudder ) the “ English ” are involved.
And you mention “ this coup attempt ” too.

I note that you have no explanation for the latest Petrobras scandal involving kickback payments to the PT, other that Veja made it all up somehow. Did they invent the sworn testimony of Petrobras executive Paulo Roberto Costa and businessman Alberto Youssef ?

“ They are trying to deceive the ordinary citizen ” No Fbear, Veja is not.

You are doing that on your own.

See the election results in tow weeks, before you move on to Caracas or Havana.
