Always remember Sir Michael Caine's anecdote of when they were out on patrol in the pitch black, - They were able to know how close the enemy soldiers were in the silence, by the odour or their Chinese cuisine.

“Memorial to the Korean War unveiled at a ceremony in central London”

    About F**king time to!!

For too long the Korean War has been “The Forgotten War”

For too long those brave men and women have gone without the thanks or the recognition that they truly deserve.

For too long names like Lt Col Cairne and Pvt Bill Speakman have gone un-celebrated by the wider public.

Well done for doing it, but it's been too long in coming.
