That's all the rest of us would get...an MRI seems unnecessary. Last report in the news here is that it was a “simple” fracture. Sort of like when Maximo had a tummy ache and had to be flown back to BsAs as the hospital there wasn't good enough.

Dec 27th, 2014 - 01:31 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Yes it does seem like overkill for a simple fractured ankle. In most places an x-ray would suffice because it is the BEST tool for diagnosing broken bones.
MRI's are for soft tissue, that x-rays can't really see very well, and are very, very expensive to do, and won't tell a doctor anything that the x-ray wouldn't.
I think this is more a case of the fact that there aren't any decent medical facilities left outside of big cities, and the President feels herself the ordinary people of Argentina, so therefore deserves better.
You would think with all that rubber in her that she would just bounce back up.
