“!blablabla.... receiving advice on the Code's implementation and potential developments in the future, to ensure the Code is kept current and is keeping with best practice.”

considering that the fig is not too bright, surely they will receive advice from the top british company in that area: BP.

if they want a code of practice referred to oil industry, the first thing these twats should do is to expel everything and everybody considered english.

as i wisely say, english + technology + safety standards = disaster waiting to happen.

Better watch out for any Argentine airliners equipped with Rolls Royce engines then!

Paulie- well what a surprise! - you show again how THICK you are! BP is not a British Company - its a multinational and has more USA shareholders than in UK! I assume you are alluding to the Gulf of Mexico spill - it was of course USA - American Subcontractors whose kit failed and fell apart.
But when has Paulie ever let truth and reality spoil a fantasy story?

BP was following USA offshore standards,

off the Falklands, people will follow North Sea British Standards. Rules out YPF anyway as they would not be up to the standards!

Marco- you are as thick as Paulie! |Its called exploration drilling! Clue is in the word that begins with an “e”.
RKH - who are they? They are no longer involved here. You do seem to have a fixation with a little company that is no longer a player.

Marcos is so thick he doesn't see the irony.

Had Rockhopper chosen a more proactive partner than Premier, and gone full speed into production in the ambitious original timeframe of 5 years, we'd be seeing first oil about now.

Billions invested for a meagre return of $60 per barrel...not what was planned

However, the longer timeframe means that first oil in 2019 means that the return will be whatever the oil price is then....probably back towards the $100.

    It's ironic...and hilarious.

The next exploration round should be interesting, especially if oil is found in the Diomedea complex, east of the islands.

Apparently [ so we hear ]
Argentina will be self sufficient in power by 2020,
    the first in south America,

Apparently Argentina is introducing a fitness regime to make them the fittest in south America,

Apparently Argentina will create 500,000 jobs
they are importing 37.6 million bicycles fitted with the latest dynamos wired up to the main gride,

as long as they cycle 5.7 hours a day in unison,

they will not only be self sufficient and fit,
but will earn 5 dollars a day less,
    Cheap at half the price,

    So they say...

@11 The only thing that Argentina will ever be first at is……………ARROGANCE!

With, of course, a few exceptions, that is the only they thing they are best at!
