Brazil's new foreign minister Mauro Vieira has left for Beijing to attend the first ministerial meeting between China and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, CELAC, according to reports from Brasilia. Read full article

A worthy initiative praised Mr. Xi Jinping to be fruitfully exploited by South American brotherhood as an approximation and generation of new business and opportunities with Asia, notably China and Russia.

There are so many common interests between the BRICS and UNASUL that our governments must give unquestionable priority to the development of common course of action.

When Dilma visit Russia, China and India? I hope that very soon.

@1. Desperate Brazil. Hoping for a few crumbs from the table. I don't understand 'Other outstanding officials include delegates from regional organizations such as the Inter American Development Bank, the UN Economic Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Latin American Development bank.' There's nobody 'outstanding' in latam or southam. All second or third-rate at best.
