Eighteen cruise ships with 2.000 passengers call at South Georgia

There were 24 harbor visits to Grytviken during December, the majority, eighteen, from cruise ships and charter yachts which between them brought nearly 2000 passengers to visit South Georgia, according to the SG Newsletter. Read full article

    The dangers of a lee shore should never be underestimated, especially when the vessel only has a small engine for basic movement.

    What a disaster for the yacht.

    The head of the argie cruise association has predicted yet another fall in the numbers of cruise ships calling at argie ports for 2015. Good!
