Former Iranian officials deny any involvement in the 1994 AMIA attack in Buenos Aires
Former Iranian foreign minister Alí Akbar Velayati accused Argentina of being under the influence of Zionism and the United States over the investigation into the 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish community centre in Buenos Aires which killed 85 and injured 300 and is considered the worst terrorist attack suffered by the country. It's fair to say that Iran is looking for a war. I wonder if it realises how many countries would get together to eradicate it. Its current actions? It's sending a ship to dock in a port on the 'wrong' side in a war zone. Does it really its threats will stop Saudi Arabia inspecting the vessel and its cargo? But then, if it wants to start a war? And from the nuclear talks, Khamenei refuses to allow international inspection of military sites or access to Iran's scientists. How peaceful. Does he think the world is going to say 'Yes, we accept that you're telling the truth.' No chance. So he's looking for a war.
