McConnell's problem is that his comments could apply equally to Egypt, the KSA and to many other countries which have US ambassadors. But McConnell seems not to understand that the Cubans do not constitute a large proportion of the Latinos within the US. This guy, and the GOP, are on the wrong side of history.

I think it will take you more than 25 years though, given the miniscule size of your brain.
Let's see, we have ambassadors and embassies in Russia and China, moving towards relations with Vietnam, etc. It's Cuba that is the threat? Given that we have trade and relations with many countires that have deplorable human rights track record and abhorrent politics, tell me again why we should continue our ill-advised stance toward Cuba?
