I wonder if he is having to shit in the woods with the other animals, mostly the argies, who can no longer shit in Ushuaia due to the sewage system not being repaired?
BTW I thought Calgary was part of Canada, in Alberta no less?
Most of the shooting was done in the Calgary AREA, in Alberta.
Calgary is a growing city, but the transition from urban to rural setting is quite abrupt - leave the environs of the city, and you are almost immediately in a rural area.
To the west of the city are rolling hills, but very soon this gives way to forest.
Production was delayed and they ran out of time. The weather warned and the snow melted.
With summer coming on, the needed to film the final scenes in the Southern Hemisphere to get snow.
Enrique lives in a nice home, a short distance west of Calgary, in a small town surrounded by farms.

Yes, I have seen Riki Mashed Potato Heads area though I am not sure of his house.
Now wonder the argie lives there after he ran away from TDC for fear of his life, it's far, far better than anything in TDC now!
Seems to be a remake of Richard Harris' and John Houston's Man in the Wilderness. Great movie.....IMHO. Looking forward to the remake in December.
