Tremor in FIFA: Swiss prosecutors open criminal proceedings against Blatter; Platini questioned

President Michel Platini says a payment to him being looked into by Swiss authorities was for work carried out under contract at FIFA. FIFA president Sepp Blatter has been questioned by Swiss federal police over alleged financial corruption. The attorney general's office in Switzerland said it has opened criminal proceedings against Blatter over possible criminal mismanagement and misappropriation of FIFA money. Read full article

    UMMMMMM!!! I wonder how much money was handed over??!!

    Another story that makes one feel vehement is this story in one of the local
    British newspapers....where a serviceman had to be hidden from public view so as not to make ethnic patients feel bad................ouch!!!
    what the hell is wrong with Great Britain when one has to hide a serviceman
    in his own country and in a public hospital......

    No, I think the bribes come from the Spanish to keep themselves in FIFA.

    WTF would want the Spanish in a football competition with all the ducking and crying foul simply because they are as useless at football as they are at everything else?
