Sunday's presidential debate in Argentina will most probably concentrate on economic policy mainly for two reasons: one that the current system with a dollar clamp, export duties, heavy influence of the government and wild spending has the economy on the verge of collapse; but the option of orthodox policies with drastic cuts in spending, salaries and possibly jobs and consumption is also seen as fearsome. At last, Argentina's focus is on itself and how to sort itself out.

    About time.

So at last, Argentines will blame Argentines for the country's state instead of someone else.

Both of you obviously do not live here, and couldn't just pick up what's on the air tonight. I was reluctant (very) to support Macri, but everything points to change. Four ourselves, For our descendants, and for every decent person that wants to inhabit Argentine soil.

    Scioli was a joke tonight.
The guy can even answer questions Macri put to him. He shuffled and waffled until the time ran out and never answered any hard questions as he didn't have Kristina there telling him what to do.
He looked very uncomfortable when Macri started talking about the current administration. Some polls put Macri winning the debate 89% to Scioli 11%

This is great, Argentina will change under Macri. We can join up with the civilised world again. Meanwhile brainwashed Peronistas are crying.
