It is the first step on a long road to rid Venezuela of the corrupt oligarchy of Chavistas. What a mess they have created.

They are not really communist but state capitalist. Everyone isn't equal but they work to make the few at the top rich.

Venezuelans in Australia are literally dancing in the streets.

It is also pretty much the only thing Colombians in Australia are talking about.

Are you saying that there really IS a son of God? And he has come to the rescue of the Venezuela?

I bet Maduro hangs on like an unwelcome odor. Come to think of it Oduro would be a suitable title. Despite enormous oil resources he and Chavez have also managed to turn a potentially wealthy country into a basket case just like KFC and her old man did. Its amazing that such useless leaders cannot recognise their own total incomptence. A sickness that also aflicts their many odious followers?

The problem is the SA nations will probably lurch to the far right.
They need to find a comfortable middle ground

    New International Version (Bible)
    ref: Matthew 21:12

”Jesus [Torrealba] entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple [SICAID], and overturned the tables of the money changers, [Chavista Bolibougiese], and the seats of those who were selling doves, [to the masses], (cf: falsehoods).,
And He said to them, “It is written, 'MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER'; but you are making it a ROBBERS' DEN.”…”

And so endeth the lesson, Amen to that. Is Jesus the “ CHOSEN ONE ” or is he in it for ill gotten gains? Let's hope that Latam can really embrace DEMOCRACY but perhaps that is too much to wish for. God what a great place if only it was not so corrupt, I know that not everyone has a finger in the pie but it seems that the whole of Latam thinks that “ he can do it why not me ” attitude.

I don't think SoAm will lurch to the right. For instance, Macri and Pinera (Chile's last President) are right of centre, not far right at all. Quite a relief from the extremes of CFK's and Chavez's style of authoritarian governments.
