My condolences to families affected by this tragedy. Argentina is a great nation and will be able to overcome this moment.

I read about this when it happened yesterday. It was at night on a very badly maintained road. It is a terrible tragedy that could have been down to human error in the driver but surely the state of the road would have contributed? Under-investment in the infrastructure will take years to rectify.

@2. Argentina .................. will be able to overcome this moment. Of course. One day. Macri's only been in office for 5 days. Based on argieland's attitude toward the avoidable deaths of indigenous people, who may see this as payback. Then there's the poor infrastructure that leads to railway crashes. Naval vessels roll over in harbour, break down at sea, daren't submerge if they are submarines, don't have usable munitions. Good idea that they've bought some tugs. Any aircraft that can still take off?
Dec 15th, 2015 - 12:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0A lot of Int'l new organizations are shading this tragedy as more than just an accident.
Dec 15th, 2015 - 12:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@5 Really? I have not seen that shading anywhere in the international news. What are they implying?
Dec 15th, 2015 - 01:52 pm - Link - Report abuse 0They're implying the drug lords and human traffickers caused this accident to keep the borders unsecured.
Dec 15th, 2015 - 01:56 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Kentucky Fried Chicken issued a lot of decrees before she left. Macaroni is executing a few decrees himself. Obamy likes the odd executive order. Is there a pattern here?

Dec 15th, 2015 - 03:04 pm - Link - Report abuse 0These Progs are despicable.
@7 Ah, O.K. interesting. Nothing to do with them heading to Jujuy ahead of the job cuts; If they were actually going there for that reason.
Dec 15th, 2015 - 03:39 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Yeah I guess a conspiracy theory sounds better than pot holes.
Dec 15th, 2015 - 08:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Most Arg long haul bus drivers are drunk. That's one of the main reason you see an inordinate amount of crashes there.
Dec 15th, 2015 - 09:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It was the front tire blowing out caused it to veer and go straight through the barrier. Couldn't of happened at a worse place.
Dec 16th, 2015 - 01:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0My condolences to all involved.
So no drug lords, human traffickers or drunk drivers involved!
Dec 16th, 2015 - 02:04 am - Link - Report abuse 0Just a random accident that ended in tragedy. Could have possibly been prevented if infrastructure hadn't been allowed to degrade, however even that isn't a guarantee to random bad luck.
A tragic 'hang-over' from the nasty party.
Dec 16th, 2015 - 03:49 am - Link - Report abuse 0CFK allowed the infrastructure to degrade, across the Country.
Expect more, and similar, it is what she would have wanted. Just so she could rush in and 'save' them from 'future' calamities.
She loved this stuff... create a disaster, then swoop in, all fake emotion, choripans and kisses.
bet she pipes up soon about this, probably made it happen herself, just to get some attention ...
However, my condolences to the families.
This is still a tragic event.
I hope that eventually Macri can improve the situation overall and rid Argentina of this evil.
RIP and condolences to the families.

Dec 16th, 2015 - 01:27 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You do realize I posted what Int'l media was implying not my own thoughts.
Argentina is so rarely mentioned in the Intl press I thought it was interesting they were bringing it up.
Its well known that the long haul bus drivers are drunk. When I lived there the police tested the drivers as they left Retiro and over 50% were already over the legal limit.
Fine, post links to support your claim or just keep quiet.
Dec 17th, 2015 - 09:26 am - Link - Report abuse 0Generalisations and personal experiences from the olden days don't count.
I'm not going to do research for a student. Google Argentina drunk bus drivers there are 850,000 hits. Pick the ones you like.
Dec 17th, 2015 - 12:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I didn't ask you to do that. I ask you for links to the claims you have made regarding this incident.
Dec 17th, 2015 - 08:38 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You seem to get confused easily so I'll repost them here:
A lot of Int'l new[s] organizations are shading this tragedy as more than just an accident.
They're implying the drug lords and human traffickers caused this “accident” to keep the borders unsecured.
When those memes didn't take hold you have talked about drunk bus drivers. The only reason would be to indicate you now think alcohol could be involved. So there would be also be links to this specific accident accusing the driver of the same thing.
As a student I know how to do research. However that is worthless unless you can back up claims and facts and be able to reference them.
So far you've done none of this.
