Other than integrating the stock exchanges of Mexico City, Bogota, Lima, and Santiago (and not all that well so far either) it has accomplished nothing of substance that was not already there under pre-existing trade agreements. Let's see Mexico offer visa free travel for business travelers from Colombia, Peru, and Chile and then there may be something to praise. Right now the Pacific Alliance is just a lot of hot air!

@2. Seems to me that the Pacific Alliance has remained true to its original objectives. Mercosur, on the other hand, is just a vehicle for attempted argie dominance and interference. Ask Paraguay!
