Perhaps indeed a guy that looks like Doctor Who is their best bet to get themselves out of their 19th century colonial mentality time warp.

British investment in Argentina should be suspended until such time as Argentine removes all vestiges of its nonsensical claim to sovereignty of the Falkland Islands.
Bravo to Lloyds Bank for having withdrawn from Argentina after over 150 years presence there!

Great Expectations is a little Dickensian. Argentina shouldn't get any hopes up over the Falklands, not after Cameron's put down of Corbyn yesterday.

“Great expectation” regarding Macri/Cameron meeting; Malvinas, 'a priority'

On the one hand the President talks about a 'new relationship' with the UK, but on the other his acolytes get all excited about the possibility of 'dialogue' over the Falklands.

So what does Argentina want to achieve from the talks? From the tone of the rhetoric it appears that some expect to come away from the meeting with the Falklands in their pocket.

    Muppets.

“Great expectation” ...a message to Mr Macri, expect nothing...because that is exactly what you are going to get. Since British servicemen died in defence of those beautiful windswept rocks there will never ever be nothing to talk about!

The only 'space' is in the head of Malcorra, she needs to cut the crap if she really wants to improve matters with the UK.

Look's like that. Or the Malvinas back to America or always will be Europe.

For us Americans is indifferent but for England it might be important. I do not know. If England want to have any chance of integration to our world, England will need to talk.

If not...leave everything as it is.

The Falklands matter has been decided long ago. That's the only reason you never hear the USA say anything about it.

Your world! Why would any successful, civilised country want to do that?

@12. Was it? What was the decision? Who made it? You have more munitions than we do. Given the 1958 US-UK Mutual Defence Agreement, could you bomb argieland for us? Please.
@13. Beat me to it! A literally “shitty” country. Apparently intending to infect or poison the world's athletes. And the survivors will probably be murdered. That's Brazil!

    @11
“If England want to have any chance of integration to our world”

Does this mean in your view that the Welsh and Scots 'don't wish to be integrated? Do you only want to deal with England?

The UK already is integrated- a third of the Saab Grippens you are going to make comes from the UK and you have British built warships in service.

You Latams just don't get the United Kingdom concept do you?

One day, the penny might drop.................
