United States turned into a net natural gas exporter for a week after the first liquefied natural gas export from Cheniere Energy Inc's Sabine Pass terminal in Louisiana left for Brazil. The United States however is not expected to become a net exporter of gas on an annual basis until 2017 after more pipelines to Mexico and LNG export terminals enter service, according to federal energy estimates. The US shale producers are mostly now profitable at U$40bbl for oil. We have proven gas reserves for 300+ years and stopped exploring years ago because we have so much.

They can go back hacking off each others head for water.
Russia is disintegrating but beware of Putin. He'll not go quietly. He's almost out of cash though, can't buy support from the satellites any longer and India stopped buying their weapons. Not too long now.
We'll see when the hedge contracts begin to expire.
