Disclaimer & comment rulesYes very strong...... as government resources to it are continually downgraded.

But they are obviously going to stop wasting as much money on their claim. The government is starting a generational change to finally stop the lie.
But I now understand where their claim comes from. Was playing the board game Risk for the first time in years and the Falklands are actually shown as being part of Argentina ;-P

Mar 05th, 2016 - 10:32 am - Link - Report abuse 0As Argentines we know and understand what we pretend with the Malvinas, and it's a principle we are not going to drop.
Two definitions of pretend in my dictionary -
The far less commonly used one is -
”lay claim to (a quality or title)
I suspect the more appropriate one is the most commonly used-
behave so as to make it appear that something is the case when in fact it is not.”
If Argentina and Spain want to play with sticks and stones, that's their problem,
Mar 05th, 2016 - 11:10 am - Link - Report abuse 0the past is dead,
yet for some, the yearning for territorial expansion is as strong as ever,
the world teeters on the brink,
and these two stupid backwater countries still want to live in the past.
They have backed themselves into a corner with that Constitution. However Constitutions can be changed, in the end it will have to change anyway as I recon the end game will come in the next thirty years as the UN order Argentina to drop this claim and unless they drop all claims then they will find themselves under a world emborgo with catastrophic consequences for the people in Argentina.

Just shit, or get off the pot.
You Argies should just downgrade your department to zero because that is all that your claim is worth. Now... where is that idiotic Hepatia person to add the twenty five year hand back guff?
Mar 05th, 2016 - 09:04 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Yes it has been confirmed, the Argentine claim to Falkland Islands sovereignty remains as strong as ever. Just ask the UK government if there have been any changes.

Mar 06th, 2016 - 11:06 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Gibraltar as a reference? Are they just as bad as la Kretina and her mob? Gibraltar is British by treaty; the Falklands sovereignty is by discovery and historical possession.
