    The rapporteur of a lower-house impeachment committee said in a report that congressional proceedings that could lead to Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff's removal from office should continue. The report by lawmaker and committee member Jovair Arantes must now be voted on by all 65 members of that Chamber of Deputies special panel on Monday.

    Indonesia sinks 23 foreign fishing vessels caught poaching, bringing the total to 170

    Maritime and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti said her agency sank 10 Malaysian and 13 Vietnamese boats that were caught fishing illegally in Indonesian waters.

    Indonesian authorities sank 23 foreign fishing boats this week saying they were “operating illegally in the archipelago's vast waters in continuation efforts for anti-poaching”, China's Xinhua news agency reported. This brings the number of vessels destroyed by the Government under the policy to more than 170.

    French shipyard STX has secured an order for up to four more ships from MSC Cruises, in a 3.6 billion-Euro (US$4.1 billion) deal announced on Wednesday. MSC Cruises, part of privately owned shipping group MSC, has in recent years been the main customer for STX France, which is based at the Atlantic port of Saint-Nazaire.

    Venezuela becomes strong client of millions of barrels of US WTI crude

    The tanker Krymsk was loaded with 500,000 barrels of West Texas Intermediate crude at the U.S. Gulf Coast on March 28. It will arrive in Curacao this week.
