Disclaimer & comment rulesSince when does Argentina have the means to authorize the visits of international bodies to the Falkland Islands, a self governing British territory?
Jun 18th, 2016 - 05:49 am - Link - Report abuse 0When the UK extends international treaties to bind the overseas territories, Argentina always repeats the process in the case of the Falklands.
Jun 18th, 2016 - 06:29 am - Link - Report abuse 0Usual childish nonsense.
The never ending battle to conquer by the cross, by the sword or by the C24 of the indoctrinated colonizers in the reformed Spanish Empire Mark II: The Argentine Republic.
Jun 18th, 2016 - 09:07 am - Link - Report abuse 0If I understand the argie wording correctly, I would reject the argie authorisation. It refers to all of the national territory. But the Falkland Islands are not argie national territory. Care must always be taken. Could argieland later claim that knowledge of that wording means that the FIG accepted that the Islands are argie national territory? And there's the reference to Soledad Island wherever that is.

It will-in a way just make it a bit more difficult and embarrassing for the ICRC when they are here. Own Goal you stupid woman Malcorra! You are almost as thick as Chrissy.

Jun 18th, 2016 - 03:21 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The fact that this 'authorisation' comes 2 days after the official Falkland Island Government release is telling.
Jun 18th, 2016 - 05:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Firstly that the Argentine government had NO IDEA that the ICRC was visiting the Falklands.
And secondly that it makes the Argentine government look pathetic, weak, out of touch and insane.
The Argentine government attempting to authorise this would be like New Zealand authorising the ICRC to visit Australia. Bizarre at best, and certainly illegal.
So Argentina keep humiliating yourself before the whole world. And here I was thinking that was over after CFK got booted out!
Argentina the joke that keeps on giving.
Argentina authorises,
Jun 18th, 2016 - 07:53 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Argentina “authorizes
who the hell is Argentina to do anything without the islands consent,

or soon Argentina will be running the whole show,
