Meanwhile, the Argentine government has released a Request for Tender to invite domestic suppliers to offer an Advanced Patch Kit (KPA, por su sigla en español) to repair its last partially serviceable French-supplied Zodiac inflatable.

Best one I read on here some years ago, Argentina are negotiating to buy two Submarines, three frigates two Destroyers and an Aircraft carrier, Air fix said the talks were going well.

Some good news, but we do need extra stuff now,
most of the latest ideas , contracts , agreements , for ships , planes etc., still wont be in use for another decade or so,
Lets hope our enemies are willing to wait,
alas, in Argentina's case it matters not.
    just thinking like.

The trouble with Airfix kits is that somebody has to put them together. Do you think Argentine industry is up to the task?

Not only that but apparently,(sshhh don't say it out loud in case some Argentine troll is listening), Airfix also make a Saab Grippen

Apparently the Airfix Grippen carries a bigger bombload than the Saab one can.

Just leave it in the North Sea, I am confident the weapons it has can reach the whole of The Dark Country from there.

interesting read, and it shows 3 lists,
the navy ships we have now,
the navy ships we did have in 2000
and the ships that should be here in 2020,

but most interesting for you guys,
is the picture of HMS Illustrious and MHS Queen Elizabeth side by side, very impressive.

I'm not sure from the North Sea - the publicly admitted range will only stretch to the southern half of the Irish Sea.
Besides, sitting ten miles off of Plymouth or Portsmouth, or in the Bristol Channel would work just as well.
