Ofelia Wilhelm, mother of former Argentine President Cristina Fernandez, is under judicial investigation for alleged irregularities worth millions of pesos to a firm of which she was a partner.
According to a report broadcast Monday by the TN television station, a courier service under the name of El Aldabon had irregular contracts worth several milllion pesos with the Argentine Post (Correo Argentino) between 2011 and 2015 to deliver ARBA (Buenos Aires province tax bureau) mail in La Plata.
TN produced a memorandum dated August of 2015 which would prove a direct awarding (not open for bids) of assignments to El Aldabon was approved for a total 147 million pesos. This contract was curtailed by the current management. The 10-year agreement provided for the outsourcing of ARBA's postal services, which is prohibited by law and must be performed by its own staff.
From 2009 to 2014 El Aldabon is said to have made profits in excess of 18 million pesos.

If I remember correctly, Néstor's father was from Swiss-German roots but born in Argentina. There are still a lot of folk down here in Río Gallegos with German ancestry.
