No layoffs until March 2017 in Argentina

The Argentine government reached an agreement Wednesday with businessmen and CGT union leaders that there will be no layoffs until March 2017, to give workers reassurances that that there is a commitment to create new jobs and to preserve the existing ones. Read full article

    In Argentina, jobs are not created and maintained for the purpose of profitably producing goods and services, but instead to allow people to maintain the illusion that they appear to be busy.

    Oh, reekie, can't have a successful economy if you don't produce something that somebody wants, efficiently and for reasonable cost. Argentina need only look in the mirror to see the problem.

    In Trump's America, jobs will not be created and maintained for the purpose of profitably producing goods and services, but instead to allow people to maintain the illusion that it's still the 1950s and they deserve to be paid more than Mexicans for doing the same work less efficiently.
