Hilary leads Trump, according to NBC/WSJ latest opinion poll

Hilary Clinton has opened up a 14-percentage-point lead against Donald Trump nationally, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Monday. The survey found that in a two-way race between the two nominees, Clinton leads Trump 52% to 38%, up from a 7-percentage-point lead last month.

Month to month inflation in Brazil during September was the lowest since 1998

Brazil's inflation continued its slow fall in September in a positive sign for the new government as it wrestles to end the worst recession in nearly a century. The 12 month rate fell to 8.48%, down from 8.97% August hitting its lowest level for the month since 1998.

Brazil's prosecutor office questions spending cap: fears it could limit corruption investigations

Brazil’s Prosecutor-General’s Office questioned the constitutionality of President Michel Temer’s proposed public spending cap and recommended that Congress shelve the austerity measures.
