Is it just my imagination or does Ms Malacara bear a distinct resemblance to Porky Pig?

It's interesting that although “CELAC expressed full support for Argentina's legitimate rights over the South Atlantic islands” they refrained from saying what they think Argentina's legitimate rights actually are.

Still think that a CELAC is a type of vegetable. If they haven't noticed, the Secretary-General's “good offices” have been closed to Argentina since 1982. There's a sign on the door.

@Roger Lorton “Still think that a CELAC is a type of vegetable. ”

Actually I believe it's the common name of an infectious disease.

    @Marti Llazo

    I don't think it's infectious, I think it's a genetic condition

I believe you may be correct on that. There is an argentine variant locally known as diminished cognitive capacity.

In my experience, having lived and worked in four Latin American republics and a frequent visitor still to LA, most people I know there have little or no interest in the ongoing stupidity of Argentina insofar as its nonsensical claim to sovereignty of the Falklands archipelago. Pie in the sky!
These occasional demonstrations of “solidarity” are just gestures and mean nothing.

When will the silly ugly lady- she is just a wild and dumb as Christina- and all her side kicks ever realise that Britain will not talk to Argentina over the Sovereignty issue without the agreement of the people who live in the Islands and have done for 8-9 generations in some cases.
In the 21st Century its called Democracy- Wishes of the people of a territory or land - Principle of Self determination and Free Choice or whatever other words you like.
Yes in the days of the old Pope whatever in late 1400s it was a different world- he who had the biggest musket and sword and nobody gave a damn about peoples - Sadly that is the era Argentina still likes to love in! rest of the world has mostly moved on a bit

“In a world with great contradiction and uncertainties,”

Like the contradiction and uncertainties expressed by Argentina in the Malvinas Myth?

@Islander1. Speaking from Britain, you are quite right. Our Prime Minister has (very) recently said that the UK and US should not interfere, in future, in sovereign countries in order to remake them in our image. Except when our interests are affected. Argieland should not take the comment in the wrong way. The Falkland Islands and their inhabitants are our interest. We are not interested in talking to argieland about sovereignty unless the Islanders want us to. The FCO does not dictate government policy. In this case, 'the people' do. And 'the people, have not forgotten 3 Islander and 266 British war dead. Where argieland hasn't even apologised for its war crimes. It even celebrates them.

There aren't Royal Navy warships and personnel, Royal Air Force combat aircraft and personnel and British Army combat troops on the Islands for no reason. They are there because the last valid statement on the subject of the Falkland Islands was made on 14 June 1982.

And argieland should be in no doubt that, just as Royal Navy surface vessels make their way to the Falkland Islands, Royal Navy ballistic missile submarines do the same. As do Royal Navy Tomahawk cruise missile-equipped fleet submarines. And none of them need American permission to act. Although, given recent comments, I doubt whether President Trump would have any objections.

Argieland needs to wind its neck in before it finds its head separate from its shoulders.

Foreign minister Susana Malcorra - is she a comedian? Should she be taken seriously??

Malcorra - Transplanted population MercoPress 10 Nov 2016 Malcorra said that historically the Argentine position was not to acknowledge for this case in particular the “self determination of peoples”, because 'kelpers' (Falkland Islanders) are a transplanted population, not aborigine.

Hm. Let's see: Falklands – Implanted Population:

The following nations are members of CELAC, members of the Commonwealth and some of which have HM the Queen as their Head of State - these are Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guayana, Jamaica and Saint Lucia.

Will all of these nations have expressed “full support”?
