Prime Minister Theresa May will face a parliamentary battle to get her Brexit Bill through the House of Lords as Labour launched its effort to rewrite the legislation. The House of Commons overwhelmingly backed legislation allowing the PM May to formally begin Brexit without altering it, but the British Government will face a stiffer test in the Lords where the Tories do not have a majority. Disclaimer & comment rulesHopefully they will oppose the will of the people who voted in the Brexit referendum leading to a battle of wills, the elected vs the unelected. This will lead to total reform of the second chamber and the 'Lording' system which is well past its sell by date.

'The people' don't have a will, it's impossible to find even two of them who agree about everything. This is why we have politics in the first place; if people agreed with each other then running the country would be easy.
How many of the Lords will debate this and how many will be fast asleep after a taxpayers paid P*** up?
