“ Argentina's Air Transport Advisory Agency has approved the flights' program of an airline from the Patagonia province of Neuquén which includes an air link between Comodoro Rivadavia and Sariwon, North Korea. The news item, which originated in the backwater province of Neuquén, did not mention what the North Korean government thought about this idea.”

But the Falkland Islands Government has not, so it will not be flying to the Falkland Islands.

More pompous Argentine hot air. It's like this boys and girls...No talkee to FIG, no flyee from Argenzuela.

(Probably can be amended to “even if you do talkee to FIG, no flyee from Argenzuela.”)

As usual, another breathless announcement about an event that has not been agreed by all parties.

The Airline should change its name to Flying Pig Airlines!

Argentina's Air Transport Advisory Agency have also shortlisted Argentine airlines that want to service the Argentina's moon base, where the personnel are short of supplies.
    A decision is imminent........

One gets the opinion that Argentina thinks they are in charge ,
Argentina are, it seems making decision and giving orders without a thought to the rights of the Falkland's,

And the reply to this from the Falkland's and British governments is what ??

Hopefully the plane has enough fuel for a return flight without a landing at the remote end, when the pilots realize that the fabled Malvinas aren't there, and that the Falkland Islands won't alllow them to land.

Jeeeeeez! what these “creative” people can fantasize of.

Come now chaps, let us just put this in perspective. It matters not one iota what route Argentina approves unless it has been agreed by the 3rd party involved.

All they have done is award on paper the 'concession' for the airlink from Argentina (note it is not from the Falklands), I don't see anything wrong in that, surely all potential routes must have the permission of the originating country to start from.

What they cannot do however is give the company the authority to physically fly to the Falklands without the authority of the Islands. Now that is when the fun will start.
