Tierra del Fuego governor Rosana Bertone called the Falkland Islanders fueguinos and invited them to integrate based on respect for cultural diversity. Ms Bertone was addressing the crowd on Sunday at the Malvinas Fallen monument in Ushuaia on Sunday, 35th anniversary of the Argentine military invasion of the Falklands and which according to the local calendar is the Malvinas Veterans and Fallen Day. there is no country on earth that supports the UK in its colonialist intents over the Malvinas Islands”,
That's because the UK has no colonialist intents, it lets the FIG run the Falkland Islands.
we should commit ourselves to build bridges.
By ignoring what the islanders say? Don't think she comprehends what building bridges means.
it's time to abide US (UN?) resolutions
The UK is.The UN states that Non governing territories should be steered toward Independence. The Falkland islands are far nearer to Independence than they would be under a colonial Argentine regime.

made of April 2 an unmovable imprint of Argentine identity”.
But you could get more mileage if you did 14th June as well, Ms. That's when the war ended.
Expat citizens are welcome at rock throwing and tyre burning ceremonies where the Union Jack is burnt to the tune of 'go home squatters and okupas!' . Such nice people..
Apr 03rd, 2017 - 02:40 pm - Link - Report abuse +6Argentina continues to show its infantile nature. Small wonder the world laughs at them long and hard.
Apr 03rd, 2017 - 03:58 pm - Link - Report abuse +8What can Argentina offer the FALKLANDERS that would be acceptable to them as they have almost everything they need already. Any Argentine like to comment on the above, no didn't think so.
Apr 03rd, 2017 - 04:10 pm - Link - Report abuse +6She is an odd creature. She uttered the same momentous offer some time ago and, in a bid to be integrated, I have written to her on various platforms - Twitter, Facebook and direct e-mail - asking for more information. So far she hasn't responded at all. I'm beginning to think that she is just saying these sentiments in a bid to keep her Fuegians on her side. Danny Fimus was equally non-forthcoming. Mind you, her on-line self-publicity is beyond question. I don't want to be a Feugian, I'm quite happy the way I am....
Apr 03rd, 2017 - 05:40 pm - Link - Report abuse +6The Argies refer to the islanders as Fuegians?
Apr 03rd, 2017 - 10:33 pm - Link - Report abuse +6The islanders refer to the Argies as payasos malparidos.
Just sayin '
Bad clowns?
Apr 04th, 2017 - 12:17 am - Link - Report abuse +3that's about right.
Wow - that'll do it !
Apr 04th, 2017 - 04:28 am - Link - Report abuse +5@FitzRoy. Don't give up! Have you thought of asking the RAF if they could do a bit of skywriting? Any idea when the Army will next be firing some missiles?
Apr 04th, 2017 - 08:37 pm - Link - Report abuse +2Have you noticed an article in British papers describing the Gibraltar Squadron ordering a spanish warship out of Gibraltar waters? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/04/fco-defends-navy-ordering-spanish-boat-out-of-gibraltar-waters
Natives are getting uppity.
When does Cristina go to jail?
England will return the Malvinas within 25 years.
Apr 05th, 2017 - 02:04 am - Link - Report abuse -5The Malvinas will return Argentina within 24 years.
Apr 06th, 2017 - 04:37 am - Link - Report abuse +2If a Falklander can go to Argentina and become a citizen, can an Argentinian go to the Falklands and become a Falkland citizen?
Apr 06th, 2017 - 11:02 am - Link - Report abuse -1The problem is the following. An Argentinian needs a job to go to the FALKLANDS so as not to live off the State, but on the other hand a FALKLANDER can go to Argentina and live off the State as most Argentinians do.
Apr 06th, 2017 - 11:16 am - Link - Report abuse +2Poor old Hepotato. Again with the old “England will return the Malvinas within 25 years” BS.
Apr 06th, 2017 - 08:22 pm - Link - Report abuse +2#1 Yes, we have no Malvinas...
#2 England doesn't have the wherewithal to return the FALKLANDS (please learn the difference between “England” and “The United Kingdom of Great Britain”
#3 The United Kingdom of Great Britain won't be returning the Falklands to Argentina without the express wishes and permission of the Falkland Islanders
#4 It ain't going to happen
Argentina will return Patagonia within 25 years
Apr 07th, 2017 - 05:14 am - Link - Report abuse +3A few years from now you may regret not to have taken the offer.

Apr 07th, 2017 - 02:05 pm - Link - Report abuse +3A few years from now you may regret not to have taken the offer.
That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.
What is the average income per head for a feuguino?
What universities do Feuguinos attend, paid for by the state?
What are the Feuguinos protected by, Tucanos? Peashooters?
Why doesn't Argentina raid some aircraft collectors and buy Spitfires for their air force, if you want to be protected by propeller driven aircraft?
So if the Islanders became Feuguinos they would be protected by what?
I tell you this for free, the Feuguino governor cannot provide Eurofighter Typhoons to defend the islands.
She cannot provide all the benefits the islanders have now, nor could she improve them.
What you call an offer, is absolutely hilarious, and akin to a bank manager being offered a job stacking supermarket shelves and to have worse working conditions and pay.
Your country is actually stupid enough to believe that if you offer the Falkland Islanders LESS that what they have now, they are going to jump up and down a -hollering and a-whooping and breaking open the Champagne.
Still, you've made me laugh, so thanks.
@ Pete Bog, what do you mean by telling Enrique Your country is actually ...?
Apr 08th, 2017 - 04:37 am - Link - Report abuse +1Canada is not offering the Falkland Islandes anything but support.
Enrique hasn't been to Argentina these last umpteen years. It may have been his country, but that was when the hills were young.
I think it is time that Occupied TdF was returned to the Falklands... and Occupied Patagonia returned to the indigenous Chileans.
Apr 08th, 2017 - 09:54 am - Link - Report abuse +1@ Don Alberto
Apr 09th, 2017 - 03:00 pm - Link - Report abuse +1Lol, nice one, I keep forgetting that Argentina is such a fantastic place to live that most Argentine supporters commenting here don't actually live there.
@EM
Apr 09th, 2017 - 07:45 pm - Link - Report abuse +1Why would they regret not taking the offer? It's not like there's any danger of Argentina withdrawing it any time soon!
Never laughed so much in my life...........get real, never in a millon years would i become an Argie.....................
