    Let's see, 43,000,000 ÷ 2840.

Each individual Falkland Islander has 15,140 land grabbing Argentinians they live next door to.

That is like a 200' high wave of violent water coming right at you.

The islanders should formally ban any Argentine business on their land, at least until they take their fake claim out of their constitution.

Then, just keep that ban going in perpetuity. Those differences in population numbers are just too dangerous.

If there is a demand for lodging on the Falkland Islands, you let someone else exploit it. It is not too far fetched to say letting the Argentinians do it is suicidal.

It may be enough just to get HJ to sign a pledge acknowledging that the Argentine claim is bogus. If they change their minds, it's not like they can ship the property back to Argentina.

Not a hope in hell- and don't believe for a moment that FI Gov gave him any clearances back then either- he is making it up- after all he is an Argentine!

In the U.S. the Howard Johnson chain is not considered a high end example of the hotel industry. You might as well put a McDonald's, Burger King and a Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food restaurant right next to each other in Stanley and end up looking just like every other capital in the world. I pray to God that the good people of the Falklands truly understand that their future and prosperity lies in them keeping their islandservice and home as something unique and different than the rest of the commercialized world!
