Cape Verde (Cabo Verde) Islands? Aren't they members of the non-aligned movement at the UN that is supposed to support Argentina's pretensions to the Falklands? A member of the African Union which supposedly supports Argentina's claims?

Perhaps they just need the money?

    Still, an interesting connection.

Remember that all these bodies that supposedly 'support' Argentina actually only support a 'peaceful' conclusion to any dispute.

To an Argentine that reads as: “they support us 100%”.
Whereas to the rest of the world it reads as: “feck off Argentina, we're really not interested.”

And this has been proved time and time again when these countries that supposedly 'support' Argentina suddenly start cooperating with the British over things, such as this air link.
