Falklands promotes the Weather Observation Website to improve forecasting

The Falkland Islands government is calling for individuals' weather observations to be uploaded to the Met Office system thus helping with improving forecasting and in formal weather modeling. Read full article

    Meteorological report for this week.

    Day 1: Windy. Cold. Flurries. Overcast.
    Day 2. Brisk breezes with occasional heavy gusting. Cold. Light snow.
    Day 3: Windy and cold. Overcast.
    Day 4: Cold and windy. Low clouds scudding by.
    Day 5: Light breeze in the morning, turning to heavier gusts in the afternoon. Drizzle.
    Day 6: Cold and windy, but not nearly as cold as it is in Río Turbio, where're they're burning tyres and the furniture.
    Day 7: Cold and windy but not a fooking argie in sight. Love it here.
