In ALL, without exception, of those countries where Spanish is spoken the Falkland Islands are known as las Malvinas - it is not meant to offend anyone. The French name for the Islands is Malouines and this it is not, in any way, derogatory.
Dec 03rd, 2017 - 12:34 pm - Link - Report abuse 0So, R.Ben Madison, live with it!
The Malcontents and their supporters are trying their best to unravel this new found approach with wild stories of the British being responsible for the sinking. One deluded bunch are now saying it was our fault because we attacked them after they invaded the Falklands. The ARA San Juan did not exist in 1982.
Dec 05th, 2017 - 01:55 am - Link - Report abuse 0@ R Ben Madison, it does not matter what they call the islands, what matters is that they are what they are, The Falkland Islands, belong to the islanders and that they are indeed British by choice.
England will return the Malvinas within 25 years.
