How long did Carlos serve in Spain's military?

The Duke of Edinburgh served in the Royal Navy during WW2.

Prince Andrew served in the Falklands War and Prince William served in the South Atlantic later where his unarmed Yellow Sea King was seen as a military threat to Argentina and deterred them from attacking the Islands.

Prince Harry saw active service in Afghanistan.

Don't remember Carlos serving anywhere special, unless hunting Elephants that can't shoot back is considered military service in Spain?
