Jan 15th, 2018 - 04:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It is true, to head off Wee Jimmy and Co's wet dream is why lots of Scots voted for Ruthie and the Conservatives at the last election, many for the first time. She, and you lot have been neutered, and you know it. Lost cause...
Sturgeon has no ability to split the UK by herself. If she could it would mean support in Scotland for the UK is weak. As Brexit's details come into greater focus, Scots will be able to inform Sturgeon whether they want to join England and Wales swirling around the drain by calling for the referendum that will continue the benefits of the EU in Scotland, while giving England the benefit of a contiguous EU neighbor which would ease some of their financial pain ahead. The big political winners of Scotland's Leave vote will be the Tories as a goodly number of the opposition in Parliament will disappear overnight.
Jan 15th, 2018 - 04:30 pm - Link - Report abuse -2Even just talk about having a new vote lost her 21 MP's...

Jan 17th, 2018 - 04:59 am - Link - Report abuse -2Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland would do well to take this opportunity in time to fully consider their futures and which associations best serve them.
Jan 18th, 2018 - 03:41 pm - Link - Report abuse -2It now looks pretty clear the abolihment of the Scottish parliment will be part and parcel of Brexit. (And a Scot is currently being groomed to be the next UK Prime Minister)
