The Argentine Cemetery is not at Darwin. There are no Argentines, from the war or otherwise, buried in Darwin Cemetery, which is near Darwin. But this one is nowhere near there. It would be quite entertaining were a visiting Argentine to ask to be taken to Darwin Cemetery....

I see April 2nd is marked in the Argentinian calendar again. No mention of the illegal invasion...or regrets.

    Or the state indoctrination...

Escude´explained that the intensification of ''territorial indoctrination'' had a snowball effect. It began in 1947 and by 1979 Argentinians were already mentally conditioned to go to war, if necessary to protect a particular image of the national territory. The image taught to two generations of Argentinians was that the national territory was composed of two parts: ''the continental territory'' and the ''imaginary territory'' and the imaginary territory made up of the ''Antarctic region'' and the ''ocean islands''.

Lynn (aka Hepatitis). There are no “Malvinas” except in Buenos Aires province. Nothing to do with the UK what you do with your slums.

“the idea is that the visit should take place before April 2nd”

Better to take place on 14th June, the date the war ended.
