The trip of the relatives from the now identified 88 Argentine combatants buried at Darwin Cemetery, will be arriving to the Falkland Islands in three aircraft on 26th March at 09;30, and will be leaving by 16:00 hours of the same Monday, according to reports in the Argentine media. The Argentine-Armenian businessman Eduardo Eurnekian, who in 2004 paid for the Argentine Memorial at Darwin, will be financing the operation. Read full article

If it is According to Argentina..., as the title says..., It won't happen..., right?
Chuckle..., chuckle...
The first 'according to Argentina' turned out to be 'not according to the FIG' and was therefore cancelled. They agreed with this, so thank yourself lucky Think. Monkeys or Organ grinders? The evidence shows who has been in charge.
Feb 26th, 2018 - 08:24 am - Link - Report abuse +8In and out all in one day .... minimum of fuss. Sounds reasonable.
What was cancelled lad?
Feb 26th, 2018 - 08:36 am - Link - Report abuse -8The three layers posh & soft toilet paper in the temporary toilets at Darwin...?
Must give you that one... A great Victory for the FIG(leaf) and them Kelper Falklandists...!
Chuckle..., chuckle...
The flight on the 15th was cancelled old man. Didn't you hear? Or have you forgotten already? Age is a terrible thing.

Feb 26th, 2018 - 09:13 am - Link - Report abuse -7The flight on the 15th was cancelled...you say...
What flight on the 15th...?, I say...
You mean that first tentative date firstly set by Mr. Melconian...?
I suppose that them three planes were not available or the marmor plates not yet carved or whatever...
Do you have ANY PROOF that the FIG(leaf) had ANY INGERENCE in delaying the visit a whoooooooooooping 10 days...?
What's that expression you luuuuuuuv to use...?
Clutching at straws
Ain't it...?
Did you not see the press release from the FIG? Or is that something else that you've conveniently forgotten old man. Dementia has its benefits I suppose.

Feb 26th, 2018 - 10:07 am - Link - Report abuse +9Play with the words all you like Think, but this was issued in response to the Clarin report (and others) announcing the 15th as the date of the relatives visit to the Islands. Immediately slammed down. Proof indeed.
As I have explaIned many times to you before..., laddie...
Feb 26th, 2018 - 10:45 am - Link - Report abuse -8All nicely agreed with the Engrish organ grinder...
No mention of no South Atlantic monkeys
Reported by your own News outlet...:
***The next of kin of 103 Argentine combatants fallen during the 1982 Falklands conflict will be travelling to the Islands next 26 March with the purpose of honoring the 88 unknown conscripts, buried at the Darwin cemetery.....
ACCORDING TO ARGENTINE MEDIA, the information was confirmed following a meeting, this Tuesday, of officials at the British embassy in Buenos Aires.***
http://en.mercopress.com/2018/02/21/malvinas-fallen-relatives-will-be-flying-to-falklands-at-the-end-of-march-says-argentine-media
As I said Think, play with the words all you like. The FIG press release was in response to the Argentine news reports as can be seen by the date. Those reports said that the 15th had been selected as the date (Remember Natasha?). Spoke too soon and Argentina got knocked back, probably just to prove a point, truth be told. The FIG flexing its muscles.
Feb 26th, 2018 - 10:49 am - Link - Report abuse +8Try again Think - you fool nobody but yourself.
Flexing what muscle...?
Feb 26th, 2018 - 11:00 am - Link - Report abuse -8The stiff upper lip one...?
The lack of soft perfumed toilet paper in them provisory toilet facilities at Darwin would have been much more significant than that insignificant change of dates you atribute to some FIG(leaf)'s muscle flexing...
You are amusing ..., laddie...
You deserve a chuckle...
Chuckle...
I can lead a fool to information, but even I cannot make him think.

Feb 26th, 2018 - 11:22 am - Link - Report abuse +6Think- the 15th was an Arg guess date- FACTS were explained at that time by FIG through the Br Embassy - and so date was later recised to 26th.
Feb 26th, 2018 - 11:29 am - Link - Report abuse +91.Takes a bit of time to get the airline and then it to start the process to get its paperwork agreed with Dept of Civil Aviation, Falkland Islands Govt. Like Insurance and Aircraft certificates etc.
2. lot of these families will be Elderly - weather not always nice and warm and sunny - so our side here needs just a wee bit of time to plan and organise logistics like:
Coaches
Temporary Toilets
Warm places to shelter if weather not nice- ie windy and snow squalls.
First Aid facilities in case any elderly folks need some
Some security
etc etc.
it is important the such a day of emotion for those 88 families goes well and RESPECTFULL - handled the organised and dignified Falklands way - not a Min.of Foreign Affairs shambles.
Incidentally todays Arg press is again wrong anyway - plans are for the named grave stones to be sent over and in place before the 26th and more appropriate.
So do not believe what Arg Press says - they do shout off at half-cock at times.
I'm presenting the evidence that the FIG had the final say Think. Deny it all you like. Makes no difference.

Feb 26th, 2018 - 12:32 pm - Link - Report abuse +8Sorry to be off topic folks, but I've just discovered the Scottish National party must be in cahoots with the Argentinians. The first president of the SNP was also an Argentine Gaucho.
